Uorfi Javed is riding high after her recent triumph on "The Traitors." The reality star took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message about her journey, showcasing her vulnerable side to fans.
She posted a poignant video contrasting her early elimination from "Bigg Boss OTT 1," where Karan Johar announced her departure, with her celebratory win on "The Traitors."
Uorfi's caption revealed the emotional toll her journey has taken. "From losing Big Boss (being the first one to be eliminated) to winning the traitors. The journey wasn’t easy. I’ve cried so many times. I’ve had so many breakdowns. I’ve wanted to give up. I’ve wanted to leave everything and run away. Being called names, getting death and rape threats, the online hate, and the offline hate, but I never stopped. Maybe the universe knew I needed this."
Uorfi openly discussed the difficulties she faced, highlighting how her "Bigg Boss OTT" defeat felt like a missed opportunity. She confessed, “When I lost Big Boss, I thought I lost my last chance at success or at having a good life. I had taken udhaar from friends to get clothes to wear for Big Boss. At that time I didn’t even know if I would ver be able to repay that udhaar.”
Despite facing constant doubt, Uorfi persevered. "People have always doubted me, even right now, but this still won’t stop me. The hate never has and never will stop me. I took out 3 traitors; that can’t be luck. Till the last moment I didn’t give up. Strategized.”
Uorfi's determination culminated in a significant victory. On Thursday, July 4th, she and Nikita Luther emerged as the winners of "The Traitors," securing a prize of Rs 70.05 lakh. The OTT show, which began with 20 celebrity contestants and influencers, concluded with Uorfi and Nikita outwitting comedian Harsh Gujral to claim the title.
Interestingly, Karan Johar played a role in both pivotal moments of Uorfi's reality TV career. He announced her elimination on "Bigg Boss OTT 1" and hosted "The Traitors," where she achieved success. "The Traitors" featured a star-studded cast, including Karan Kundrra, Raj Kundra, Raftaar, Jasmine Bhasin, Anshula Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, Jannat Zubair, and Sudhanshu Pandey. Ultimately, it was Uorfi and Nikita's strategic gameplay that led them to victory.
