Shanaya Kapoor, the daughter of Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor, is preparing to make her mark in Bollywood. Before her acting debut, she served as an Assistant Director on 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl'. Despite being a part of Gen Z, Shanaya recently shared insights into her traditional romantic values.
In a recent interview, Shanaya acknowledged the fast-paced, detached nature of her generation. However, she confessed to being an old-school romantic at heart. "I look for a long-term relationship," she stated, emphasizing her desire for stability and comfort in a partner. "When she finds that special person, they become like home to her."
Shanaya highlighted the unique challenges faced by artists, whose work often blurs the lines between professional and personal life. She emphasized the importance of finding a partner who can bring balance and stability to her life, further solidifying her commitment to old-school values.
Shanaya Kapoor is set to debut in Bollywood with the romantic drama 'Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan', alongside Vikrant Massey. The film, directed by Santosh Singh, is scheduled for release on July 11. Additionally, she will star in 'Tu Yaa Main', a survival thriller directed by Bejoy Nambiar and produced by Aanand L Rai, opposite Adarsh Gourav, slated for release on Valentine’s Day 2026.
