Chopra's assessment stems from the inherent physical attributes and techniques shared by fast bowlers and javelin throwers. He specifically highlighted Bumrah's exceptional fitness and strength as pivotal assets that could translate into success in the world of javelin, had he not already made his mark in cricket.

"I think it would be a fast bowler for sure. So, I think a fully fit Jasprit Bumrah will be good at it," Chopra stated on Star Sports.

Bumrah's recent cricketing performance underscores his remarkable physical capabilities. During the first Test match against England, he achieved his 14th five-wicket haul in the first innings.

Despite Bumrah's efforts, England secured victory by successfully chasing down a target of 371 runs, leading to a 1-0 lead in the five-match Test series.
